Are We Set To Return To Hoth In STAR WARS EPISODE VII? Ice Planet Confirmed!

While we can't be sure it's Hoth (the iconic ice planet from Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back), the action in the J.J. Abrams helmed Star Wars Episode VII will indeed head to snowy location at some point. The source of this news? Sir Roger Moore! Read on for details...

Star Wars 7 News have come across a recent interview with legendary James Bond actor Sir Roger Moore, and he confirmed during a chat with the BBC that there will indeed be a ice planet in Star Wars Episode VII! There were rumblings back in May that the movie might return to Hoth, and while this still hasn't been confirmed, it certainly seems likely now (though just as likely is that Abrams will be taking us to new planets, albeit with a similar terrain to Hoth).

Roger Moore: Anyway, the day before last, I know we stopped by the office, and I went up to see – on a very closed, secret set – my friend J. J. Abrams, who is directing Star Wars.

BBC: Ooh, wow!

Moore: With Harrison Ford.

BBC: So, what were they filming that day? Can you tell me?

Moore: Well, yes! They were filming something with a lot of mountains and snow.

Between sticking a Batmobile on the Millennium Falcon, putting an emphasis on practical effects and bringing back some redesigned X-Wings, Star Wars Episode VII seems to be in very good hands with J.J. Abrams, and with Tatooine - or a planet very similar - also confirmed, there's a lot to look forward to in this movie! What do you guys think about this latest reveal?
