Star Wars: The Last Jedi was always on track for a terrific opening weekend and most analysts predicted a $200 million haul - however, the latest updates are in, and Rian Johnson's return to the galaxy far, far away is now expected to hit the $220M mark.

STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI SPOILERS - Counting Down All Of The Biggest Reveals And Most Shocking Moments

This means The Last Jedi will claim the the second best opening weekend ever behind The Force Awakens, which took in a record-breaking $247.966M. Internationally, TLJ has made $230M from 54 markets for a worldwide launch of $450 million.
