While he hasn't officially joined the movie just yet, The Wrap reports that Jesse Plemons is in contention for a lead role in Star Wars Episode VII. According to the site, "Plemons is scheduled to meet with director J.J. Abrams next week to discuss the highly anticipated sequel", and he has "already taped an audition that was well-received by those involved in the casting process, and he’ll by flying in to Los Angeles from Austin, Texas for a second audition that will bring him face-to-face with Abrams." Various individuals have confirmed to the site that he's a serious contender for the role, and while there's no word on who he will be playing, his resemblance to Mark Hamill may be noteworthy. After appearing in Battleship and The Master, the actor gained critical acclaim for his role as Todd in Breaking Bad. How do you guys feel about this news?
