It's been confirmed today that Star Wars Force Friday II will take place on September 1st, and for those of you that don't remember the 2015 version of this event, it's then that a wealth of merchandise from Star Wars: The Last Jedi will go on sale. To celebrate that fact, Disney and Lucasfilm have revealed the packaging theme, and as you can see, it offers up a brand new look at the movie's trio of heroes.
"The first Star Wars Force Friday event was truly unique, uniting fans across five continents in an unprecedented global live unboxing event ahead of thousands of midnight openings at retail," said Jimmy Pitaro, chairman, Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media. "We’re excited to confirm that Star Wars Force Friday is back for The Last Jedi. Plans for this year’s worldwide event are top secret, but expect something befitting the excitement around the next episode of the Star Wars saga." Products are going to be kept under wraps until they go on sale.
