Replacing Harrison Ford is an impossible task, but Disney and Lucasfilm have tried by casting Alden Ehrenreich (
Hail, Caesar!) as Han Solo in Phil Lord and Christopher Miller's currently untitled spinoff.
The movie is currently shooting and
TMZ has managed to get some photos of the actor suited as the beloved space pirate along with some very intriguing shots of some suped up speeders, one of which is being piloted by Solo. No other familiar faces have been spotted, but this leak could very well lead to Disney deciding to release an official image of Ehrenreich in the role within the next few days.
We'll have to wait and see on that front, but you can find the images by following the link below.
Han Solo has the potential to be really good, but an argument about just how necessary it is could definitely be made. There are, after all, a lot of other characters worthy of a movie, but this prequel might still be interesting. What do you guys think? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
