In order to hit their 2015 release date target, Star Wars: Episode VII director, J.J. Abrams, and producer Kathleen Kennedy, will have to start making some casting decisions very soon. Apparently, one decision has been made today. Star Wars fansite, Jedi News, a site that has been posting a lot of "scoops" has yet another one. They report:
We understand that British actor Chiwetel Ejiofor (Serenity), who was a very early consideration for a role in the film and who also met with J.J. Abrams this week, will be joining the cast of Episode VII in an as yet undisclosed role.

Keep in mind, Jedi News made this claim at the same time The Times posted an article revealing that Chiwetel Ejiofor was at J.J. Abrams' office this past week. So, this might just be a fansite jumping to conclusions. I'll update.
