Iko Uwais & Two More THE RAID Actors To Appear In STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS
Rama VS. Stormtroopers? Twitch are reporting that a trio of actors from The Raid movies (Iko Uwais, Yayan Ruhian and Cecep Arif Rahman) will appear in J.J. Abrams' Star Wars movie in unspecified roles. More details past the jump...
I really hope this is true. Twitch are reporting that a trio of actors from the amazing The Raid films are set to appear in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. According to them, we will see Iko Uwais (Rama), Yayan Ruhian (Mad Dog in The Raid, Prakoso in The Raid 2: Berandal) and T Cecep Arif Rahman ("The Assassin" from the final Berandal battle) as unspecified characters when we return to the galaxy far, far away in December. Though the site have no information on who they might be playing, given the fact that all three are accomplished martial arts experts, it's not too much of a stretch to assume they will be putting those skills to use in some capacity. Be warned though, it's pretty damn violent.
UPDATE: The Wrap have confirmed this, and they add that one of their characters is "expected to perish onscreen".
