Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in theaters December 18, 2015. The movie is directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan & Abrams, and features a cast including actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie, Crystal Clarke, Pip Andersen, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow. They will join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. All I want to know is does John character become a jedi or is it daisy character, because at first I though it was John but the trailer makes it seem like Daisy. hoping it's both

I have zero worries about this film after seeing the new teaser. The only thing that I hope to see that has not been hinted at, is more involvement from Luke. I heard a rumor that he might have a very minor role (that is an understatement). It would be a shame to get Mark Hamill back and not give Luke at least one epic lightsaber battle, although I guess it could happen in Episodes VIII and IX. All the new elements could end up being more appealing anyways.

I honestly think it's both. Luke's dialogue was directed towards Ridley I believe. She has a striking resemblance to Natalie Portman and she looks like a badass already! She totally fits the bill, Finn on the other hand would probably just be a force sensitive. I could see them both being trained by look between this film and the next.
