Star Wars: The Last Jedi is now less than a month away and while Justice League may have disappointed at the box office, the signs are all pointing to this movie being a huge hit when it opens.

Following the release of four very cool new magazine covers, Entertainment Weekly has unveiled an awesome batch of official images showcasing a number of heroes, villains, and new and returning locations in this return to a Galaxy Far, Far Away. What do they tell us about the movie? Well, you'll have to click below to find out but don't worry, there aren't any major spoilers revealed here.

"There’s a history in Star Wars of the attraction between the light and the dark, whether it’s the story of Anakin basically turning from this sweet kid and seeing his seduction to the dark side, or even with Luke," director Rian Johnson says about the journey this movie is going to take us on.

"Even though you never really believe he’s going to go over to the dark side, the whole revelation of ‘I am your father’ has to do with Vader and this darkness that [Luke] thought he could just dismiss as ‘That’s the bad guy. I don’t have any of him in me,'" Johnson adds. "Suddenly he realizes ‘No, I come from him. I have quite a bit of him inside me.’" Will Rey's story follow a similar path? Time will tell.

Luke Skywalker finally returns to the Millennium Falcon but he doesn't look happy about it. That's probably because it stirs up so many bad memories for the Jedi Master...

Finn and Rose (Kelly Marie Tran) can be seen here escorting BB-8 through the affluent corridors of power in the casino city of Canto Bight, a location this movie will introduce us to.

Well, this is intriguing! As Rey faces an unknown presence (Supreme Leader Snoke, perhaps?), Kylo Ren looms menacingly in the background. Is the former Ben Solo friend or foe to her, though?

"Rian Johnson could have just made me another benevolent Jedi teacher but, you know, we’ve seen that before. And no one can do it better than Sir Alec Guinness," says Mark Hamill.

Is this image teasing conflict between General Leia and Poe Dameron? That certainly appears to be the case but you have to believe they'll find common ground before too long here.

A great shot of Star Wars: The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson alongside Carrie Fisher, her tragic death means that this will mark her final appearance in the long-running franchise.

That's Kylo Ren's shuttle which is hovering above the AT-M6s, "gorilla walkers" that are surging across the salt flats of the mining world of Crait which look way more imposing that AT-ATs!

This is Laura Dern's Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo, a character who comes in to help steer the Resistance in a new direction. She reportedly clashes with Poe Dameron about how wars should be won.

An awesome shot of the Millennium Falcon hitting lightspeed, what the Porg on board makes of travelling in such a way remains to be seen but it should be fun finding out!

Another familiar shot from the trailers, this scene obviously takes place moments before Kylo Ren smashes his helmet. Why he chooses to do that currently remains a mystery to us.

Rey looks intense here as she trains but is she lowering her lightsaber or about to raise it at Luke Skywalker, the reluctant teacher who seems intent on pushing his new pupil?

I know a lot of people are saying Poe will be the new Han but I honestly feel like he’s the new Leia, seeing how she’s taking him under her wing and he’s eventually going to take over for her... I feel as if he will be doing her job eventually if they ever follow these characters again
