Possible STAR WARS EPISODE IX Spoilers Reveal New Details About The Knights Of Ren And More

With rumours swirling that we'll get a first look at Star Wars Episode IX this month, a new report has surfaced which claims to shed some light on everything from lightsabers to the Knights of Ren...

With production well underway on Star Wars Episode IX, rumours have once again started swirling about what we should expect from the final chapter in the Skywalker Saga.

As always, all of this should be taken with a pinch of salt but there's some very interesting information here, including the possible return of Luke Skywalker's destroyed lightsaber, the long overdue debut of the Knights of Ren, and a whole new type of Stormtrooper (again).

It definitely sounds like J.J. Abrams is taking the Star Wars franchise back to a place fans want and that's bound to be welcomed after Star Wars: The Last Jedi. So, to take a look at these possible plot spoilers, all you guys have to do is click the "View List" button below.

Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber

After teaming up, Kylo Ren and Rey clashed over Luke Skywalker's lightsaber (which once belonged to his father, Anakin) and it was destroyed as a result.

However, it's said that the iconic blade will make its return in Episode IX and while "there hasn’t been anything solid about how the sword has changed," it sounds like Rey has repaired it somehow. That's an interesting decision, and it will definitely be fun to find out if it looks any different.

You have to believe that Kylo Ren will want to get his hands on the lightsaber too, though...

The Knights Of Ren

There was no sign of the Knights of Ren in The Last Jedi but it sounds as if Abrams will bring the group back after first teasing them in The Force Awakens

According to the site, they're going to be portrayed as having "unnatural" powers and while they were described earlier this year as "Force Wielding Mercenaries," that's since changed and they're now being referred to as "a group with many special abilities."

A New Stormtrooper

The new trilogy of Star Wars movies has introduced a number of different Stormtrooper classes, so you probably won't be surprised by plans to add another to that list in Episode IX

It's said that these Stormtroopers will be decked out in red uniforms with black stripes:

The trooper is not just a First Order Stormtrooper painted red either as the helmet is different. Ironically, we did hear the trooper was a pilot but for all we know these are like Death Troopers and they can fly ships too. We also can’t confirm there are more than one in the film at this time.

It definitely sounds like Abrams will be undoing a lot of what Rian Johnson did with The Last Jedi by going back to many of the plot elements he introduced in The Force Awakens. Whether or not that means Rey's parentage will be addressed and we'll get an origin story for Supreme Leader Snoke remains to be seen, but we'll hopefully learn more about the movie soon.

@Inktown03 - My expectations are really low for this one. Can't even remember when it's going to be launched. Disney managed to do this to SW, only Ep7 was OK (IMHO, obviously).

I was decorating my Christmas tree last night and when I got to the Kylo and Rey ornaments I just went “yuck” and sat down. Let my wife finish the job. As a lifelong Star Wars fan I really hope this next movie ignites my excitement again.

I'm just logging in and commenting for the first time in years to say The Last Jedi is great.
Alright, back into solitude I go.

Give me some [frick]ing Knights Of [frick]ing Ren already. It was such a shame VIII skipped them and had time for that Canto Bight shit instead.

This is such a complicated franchise...
I could do with TLJ if it had re-watchability, but boy is it boring, lol
This doesn't sound too wild. Then again the time jump and Rey having a kid WAS pretty crazy, that did sound interesting. Maybe the teaser will be cool?

One thing I like about JJ Abrams directing IX is the possibility of him answering his own questions created in VII. I hope he gives Snoke some backstory and Rey some proper heritage
