Rian Johnson Shares BTS Pic From The Set of STAR WARS: EPISODE VIII; Plus TFA Table Read Clip

Believe it or not, Episode VIII has been shooting for almost a full month now, and to mark the occasion director Rian Johnson has posted a new set snap. It's not very revealing, but pretty cool nonetheless...

Director Rian Johnson has posted the following image from the set of the still untitled Star Wars: Episode VIII to his Tumblr, along with the caption "Hard to believe we're wrapping up week four already, it's just flying by." It's nothing particularly exciting, but does give us a look at Cinematographer Steve Yedlin standing just outside what appears to be the cockpit of The Millennium falcon - though it could be another ship.

In addition, we have a sneak peek of one of the bonus features that'll be available on the Star Wars: The Force Awakens Blu-ray. Again, it's not much, but we do get a little tease of that monumental first table read that the new and returning cast members took part in.

Star Wars: Episode VIII is set to hit theaters December 15, 2017.
