SHE-HULK TV Show Writer Compares Watching STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER To COVID-19

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is not a particularly well-liked film, but She-Hulk writer Dana Schwartz just delivered a sick burn which may be a step too far, as she compared it to the coronavirus!

This could be controversial!

She-Hulk writer Dana Schwartz has just dropped an undeniably funny Tweet in which the writer of the upcoming Disney+ TV show from Marvel Studios compared J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. It's admittedly a little tasteless, but meant in jest. That hasn't stopped some people from getting offended on social media, of course!

In fairness, it isn't a great look for a new Disney employee to compare one of their movies to a virus that's killing thousands of people across the globe, and this could land the writer in hot water.

If the Tweet embedded below is deleted, it reads as follows: "COVID-19 is going to be like Rise of Skywalker. It’s a nightmare. It’s going to be a struggle. But then we’re going to get to come out the other side and pretend it never happened." Like we said, it could be controversial!

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker received mostly negative reviews, but does it deserve to be compared to a pandemic? It's a joke, people, so let's not overthink this one too much, eh?

Oh no! The offended! I seriously don't get why anyone would be offended, it's a joke centered on a movie apparently everyone didn't even like.

@JustAChillFan - Don't know how people are reacting, but yeah agree its a dumb joke, no need to go crazy about it, but there is a time for jokes and right now is not it, especially about this
