Solo: A Star Wars Story recently recieved two brand new posters along with a bunch of new information.

Along with last week's plethora of TV spots, fans were treated to two posters for the film - one for Japan and one for the UK. The Japanese poster offers a unique take on assets that have appeared previously throughout promotional materials, while the UK one bolsters a new look at some characters (including Paul Bettany's Dryden Vos) and has a similar aesthetic to classic Star Wars posters.

The posters' arrangements, especially the UK one, bare a resemblance to other Star Wars movie posters - Rogue One: A Star Wars Story in particular. The first seems remeniscent of a classic, western "wanted poster", with the worn and withered edges, while the second is more colourful and beguiling.

What do you think about the two new posters? Which is your favourite?

I'm not really interested in this film EXCEPT for Glover as Lando. Look at him command that poster.

Each new poster that comes out reafirms the theory that Emilia Clarke is indeed the villain of the story. Which, if it ends up being true, it's kinda original as far as Star Wars movies go.

Anyways I'll check it out when it's released digitally, seems like a fun afternoon.

@SwampThing - I think it'll be Thandie (don't know her character's name).

@Nebula - I think her name is Val. But nah, I'm betting her character is Tobias Beckett's wife/companion, who is some sort of defector from the Empire.

Something along those lines. I see her and Harrelson being sort of the parental figures for Han.

Which, of course, would make it that much cooler if she were to be the villain.

I think Clarke's character Qi'Ra does Solo wrong, and I think Beckett kills Qi'Ra, which causes a rift between his mentor, maybe he kills his own mentor, because he shot and killed Qi'Ra. This makes him trust nobody and not care for anyone else except Chewbacca.
