That "new" Sith IS Luke.

This movie will bring the Star Wars Franchise back from the episodes 1-3 demise...

@drfate it's most definitely not. That guy is taller than Mark Hamill, and definitely skinnier too.

I believe the actor is Adam Driver, but not sure about who he's portraying.

The new villain is Andy Serkis.

Way too narrow across the shoulders to be a guy, that's a thin feminine figure under the robes. Gwendoline Christie is a Sith.

I think the "villain" we see is Anakin. Disney paid $4 Billion for the rights and I believe they have $4 billion reasons to bring the most iconic movie villain in history back to life. They'll have to get creative on that and explain the force hologram at the end of ROTJ but I'm sure JJ can come up with something. I'm thinking Luke is in hiding with Anakin because may be riding yourself of the dark side is like getting rid of cancer or some other horrid disease and it takes a long time, and Luke knows the Alliance will want him dead and the sith/Empire will want him to turn back. I'm probably wrong but you never know.

@Pony

I have a feeling that is the new apprentice… Searching for his Master.. Which is probably a fully soulless Anakin/Darth Vader….

I still say it's Jar Jar Binks. "Mesa join darkside. Mesa destroy yousa for making fun of Jar Jar."

@slickrickdesigns

I should have clarified...I think the concept art of the guy with the mechanical hand holding Vader's burnt helmet is Anakin, and I agree with you, the trailer show the apprentice or inquisitor villain.

Great pics!!

@SimyJo . I agree .The way the actor moves immediately reminds me of Gwendoline Christie. And the big lightsaber w/hilt adds to the speculation it is her. Very excited for this flick.

@SimyJo @Tiger73 Christie doesn't have a typically thin female figure tho.

To me, that really looks more like Adam Driver, mostly because the way the character moves (and hunches his/her back)
