STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI - Finn Gets Recognized By An Old Stormtrooper Buddy In This Funny Deleted Scene

A second deleted scene from Star Wars: The Last Jedi Blu-ray release is now online, and this time it's a humorous moment with Finn, Rose and DJ attempting to pass as Imperial Officers. Check it out...

The first Star Wars: The Last Jedi deleted scene gave us an alternate - and far more definitive - death scene for Captain Phasma, and the second sequence to wind up on the cutting room floor also features Finn (John Boyega).

This time, the one-time Stormtrooper winds up surrounded by a bunch of his former colleagues while on his sabotage mission with Rose and DJ. When one of 'em (possibly Tom Hardy?) recognizes FN-2187 from their days in the academy, it doesn't look good for the trio. However, things don't play out quite as they expect.

Check out the footage below, and let us know what you think.

In4re the good ol' whining.

John Boyega is good with humor. I wonder how they'll be in Pacific Rim: Uprising.

Damn, they shouldn't have cut that. Also that's definitely Tom Hardy.

For one, how dare you get Tom Hardy only to cut him out.

For two, of course this is a deleted scene; It's almost like they knew the movie had way too many jokes in it.

@ODanil - So did I. I didn’t care for Rogue One and I’m not excited for Solo and the other planned spin offs but I’ve got to say, I've been loving this sequel trilogy so far

That would have never worked. In the ranks rumors and news spread like wildfire especially when it involves one of their own within the ranks and for something as big as being a traitor.

Everyone would have known that FN-2187 was a traitor.

Between this and the "yo mama" jokes I think it's safe to say humour was not this film's strongpoint.

Sorry babies, but The Last Jedi was a good movie. You just don't like it because it goes against the fantasies you dreamed up in your heads since TFA and the YouTube fan fiction you watched endlessly.

OH NO...Snoke wasn't Darth Plagueis
OH NO...Luke doesn't face Plagueis in a battle
OH NO...We are told that Rey is not a Skywalker or the granddaughter of Ben Kenobi

And you are the same people who loved that rush job, retread of A New Hope called The Force Awakens. The same people who loved that Han Solo was underused and died like a punk.

You are so narrow-minded that you overlook all of the good things that this movie did for the universe was had become pigeon-holed after Lucas constricted it in the prequels.

Don't be too sad. You will always have your YouTube fan fiction theories.
