STAR WARS Trailer Beats AVENGERS 2 Record; Could Be Most Viewed Of All Time

Last month, the Avengers: Age Of Ultron trailer set a record with over 50 million views in one week. Of course, if anything was ever going to top that it was the incredibly anticipated return to that galaxy far, far away. Could the Force Awakens trailer set an all-time record?

The trailer for Marvel's Avengers: Age Of Ultron set a 2014 record for most views with 50.6 million in just one week. Well, as we all probably expected, that's been pretty much left in the dust by the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer which debuted this past Friday. That first look at J.J. Abrams' new Star Wars flick was watched a whopping 58.2 million times in just four days, and according to Zefr it might just be on track to become the most viewed trailer of all-time -- though they don't mention what currently holds that record (there's some homework for ya!). There are those who'll claim the Avengers 2 trailer leak might have hurt its official view count, but I think the first look at a new Star Wars movie was always gonna come out on top no matter what its competition was.
