In the video below, we see Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega and Gwendoline Christie discuss the physical training and choreography needed to bring the movie's fight scenes to life. Be aware of very mild potential spoilers about some character battles.

Daisy Ridley, required to be proficient in both the staff and lightsaber, displays an impressive moves list. John Boyega and Gwendoline Christie hint at a fierce confrontation between their characters Finn and Phasma. Brief shots of the filming of that scene are glimpsed.

It is apparent that the actors will be performing the majority of their fights with minimal assistance from stunt performers. Check out the featurette and share your thoughts in the comments section.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be released on December 15th 2017. A few international markets will get it on the 13th or 14th.
