VIDEO: Disney Promotes Lucasfilm Deal With DARTH VADER In Disneyland Advert

“Darth Vader, Now that you’re part of the Disney family, what will you do next?”. Disney were pretty quick about getting this advert out there. See the Dark Lord of the Sith visit the “Happiest Place on Earth” in this amusing vid after the jump..

Does anyone actually think that Disney..or anyone else for that matter..can [frick] up Star Wars any more than Lucas already has? because if so, I'm all ears as to how that's even remotely possible!

What has Vader done to deserve this?

Episode VII has vasts amount of potential, but leave the story of Luke, Leia and Han alone for the love of God. Focus on a new generation.

Heh, after the pre-sequels doubt they could do anything worse. Then I'm not the hugest Star Wars fan, but I'm actually excited about this. But how are they going to use their biggest villain Vader again? Oh well... we'll see how it goes.

After George Lucas dies, will Disney cryogenically freeze his corpse in the hopes of cloning him in the future?

And now people think Star Wars is above marketing to children...

It's a damn commercial. Go watch the Christmas Special if you want the same thing since 1977 and the Franchise to stagnate.

STAR WARS was dying a slow death since Episode III. How long could they milk THE CLONE WARS? True, something could be said for letting the franchise die peacefully, but then we'd never get the stories GL teased us with decades ago.

I'm looking forward to a fresh, new mega series of films, no doubt.

So this confirms that they will continue the trend of taking away his masculinity from where Lucas began in The Phantom Menace.

Vader now works for the only thing more evil than himself. Mickey Mouse. I hope the disney stores at least acknowledge Leia on their disney princess crap.

Disney are going to flog this to death now...

Get the original actors back for the sequels regardless of how they look today...

We all get old anyway...
