Lucasfilm Story Group's Leland Chee, Pablo Hidalgo, Matt Martin, and Rayne Roberts delve into all manner of cameos and references, including how Poe Dameron knew exactly where to attack the First Order dreadnought in the movie's opening.
The inclusion of Han Solo's dice was supposed to be a reference to The Force Awakens but J.J. Abrams ended up removing that scene and it obviously became a nod to the events of A New Hope instead.
