Will Gareth Edwards' STAR WARS Movie Feature Both 'Boba Fett' AND 'Han Solo'?
That's the latest rumor doing the rounds anyway. The plot of the first standalone Star Wars movie has been under wraps since it was announced that Godzilla director Gareth Edwards would take the director's chair, but we might just have some new details on what we can expect...
At various points, every character from Jabba the Hutt to Yoda to Jar Jar Binks (okay, maybe not the last guy) has been mentioned as the possible focus of one of the planned Star Wars spin-offs in the works at Lucasfilm/Disney -- but the prevailing rumor about the plot of Gareth Edwards' first standalone flick was that it would tell the tale of Boba Fett and his gang trying to retrieve plans for the first Death Star. Now, Latino Review claim to have some new information that puts Han Solo and his iconic ship, the Millennium Falcon, right there along with the enigmatic bounty hunter and his pals. This does make sense, as we've been hearing conflicting reports on which of the two classic characters this first spin-off would be about, and that might simply be because they'll both be involved. In the original trilogy it was definitely hinted Han and Fett might have had some history, so that would be an interesting route to take. Recently we found out that Rooney (and her sister Kate) Mara, Tatiana Maslany, and Felicity Jones are all in the running to play the female lead in the film -- could that be Boba's daughter Ailyn Vel? That's one theory, and you can read some more at the link below.
