My favorite movie released this year. I will definitely be getting this! Now I am just waiting on the people to come on here, and say "this isn't a comic book movie!" ;)

It honestly didn't do that much for me. I liked it enough watching it, but I never remember that it existed until someone brings it up again. The last act didn't really pull it all together for me, I guess.

I admit the alien wasn't much of a character one could sympathize with. The appeal of the story for me was the group of friends making their movie. Most fun I have had at a movie in a long time. 9.5 out of 10.

Maybe a better comparison would be Goonies

I don't like it when kids run around and do things that the Army can't do. We all know that no 13 year old boys are going to jump in an alien hole in the ground to save a girl. a hot girl even, no no no. Goonies meets Stand By Me and E.T. rolled in to one. 2 stars.
