What's after Twilight for Taylor Lautner, maybe a Paramount movie about a teenage superhero - Max Steel!

Lautner who's making waves right now as Jacob in Twilight's New Moon only has a character role in Gary Marshal romantic comedy "Valentine's Day" in line for his next film. The actor's representatives want to remedy that by looking at "Max Steel," a possible Paramount film who is making good with toy to movie adaptations with their two big hits Transformers and G.I.Joe.

Lautner would play Josh McGrath, a teenager who is into extreme sports. He accidentally is exposed to nanotech machines, which become part of him, give him increased strength, near-invulnerability, and the ability to change his appearance.

J.P. Lavin and Chad Damiani are on board as writers. They are currently writing another superhero action movie "Capeshooters" based on Liefeld comic book.

To be honest I am not the least interested.

-access out. Godspeed!

I haven't seen the actor in anything, but I remember watching the show about 10 years ago.

the same thing happened with The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Max steel always seemed to me like a show created by executives who thought they knew what kids wanted to see on TV. Even as a kid I thought it was lame.

Lautner is perfect for the role.
