Do you believe the hype about Avatar? I do, and I'm almost positive you will go see Avatar on December 18th. You know why? Cause there isn't anything else opening that weekend anyway!

Check these new pics out of James Cameron's Avatar!


This shot features Sigourney Weaver playing Dr. Grace Augustine, a scientist who works with Sam Worthington’s Jake Sully.


And this shot is of the movie’s villain, Stephen Lang’s Col. Miles Quaritch, flying a battleship known as the Dragon.

These pics and more can be picked up today at news stands in the brand new Empire issue. If your in the Portage IN area and are going to see this film maybe you can see us, Jman and Johnny Love as we review Avatar at the Portage 16 IMAX Theater. Also if your in the area next month around 9-12-09 we will be there for Whiteout, and then Jennifer's Body a week after that.

So will the impending lawsuit from the guys that made Delgo have any effect on this movie? Will the lowest grossing movie take down the director of the highest grossing movie in the short history of cinema?

Looking forward to another Sci-Fi. There were quite a lot this year. Hopefully this will be the best of them all.

personally i have no interest in seeing this movie. doesn't look or sound interesting to me, at all. i will watch about 10mins of it online though, to see what the hype's about.

Try harder at what? I actually bring in logic and reasoning into my comments, you should try harder at doing that in your comments.

You did dump Lewis. For months you have been campaigning for Lewis, saying he was "born to be Cap" and then you suggest Worthington as a maybe, and you see that some people like it. Then, you reduce Lewis to a side note and eventually just stop mentioning him altogether.

Matches LOL, yeah, some women are just repulsive to me like McGowan and Johanson. I am a very big milf and Gmilf lover!!! Sarandon is close to the top, right next to lisa rinna and sharon stone!!! And after seeing her in Galaxy Quest, i'll always have a thing for Sig. I thought she was also hot in Ghostbusters with that demon voice ;)
