The big twist in M. Night Shyamalan's recent horror flick, Split, was that it turned out to be set in the same universe as Unbreakable, and the divisive director is now preparing to conclude his trilogy with Glass.

The movie will see the return Split's James McAvoy as Kevin Wendell Crumb/The Beast and Anya Taylor Joy as his surviving victim Casey, along with Bruce Willis (David Dunn) and Samuel L. Jackson (Elijah Price) from Unbreakable.

Now, THR reports that we can add Spencer Treat Clark as David's son and Charlayne Woodard as Elijah's mother to the list.

Specific plot details are still under wraps, but the story is expected to find Dunn on The Beast's trail while Price, a.k.a. Mr. Glass, "emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men"

Glass is set for release on January 18, 2019.

@Shazam - funny enough, I just watched Split again on Rakuten. Great movie. The way the soundtrack slowly morphs into the Unbreakable theme, and that cameo... i really can’t wait for Glass. Never thought I’d say this about a Shyamalan movie after the string of shitty movies he made. But I have to say, this was a really good comeback 🙏

@Gunslinger - Interesting, I did not notice the score morph into that of Unbreakable's. Maybe I just haven't seen Unbreakable recently enough. I'll have to watch them back to back. I thought Shyamalan was beyond the point of no return, but the Visit was a nice little surprise, and then i thought split was dope. Really hoping he doesn't sh!t the bed with Glass, but I think he must be on to something.

@Termin8er - check the theme on youtube, you’ll recognise it I’m sure. Someone must have made a video about it. I clocked it because Unbreakable for me was the epitome of a superhero movie, before we were spoilt for choice by Marvel and Nolan (and WW). I lost count of how many times I watched it back in the day. Watched it again recently and it still holds up. Shyamalan’s best work, by far. In my opinion of course.

And that track... gives me chills still.

@Gunslinger - Dude...I remember my sister and her boyfriend coming back from seeing "Split", and telling me about that ending, and I was so excited telling them what it meant.

Wish I gone to see it in theaters. Not knowing about it ahead of time...would've given me SO MANY chills.
