Various outlets are reporting that Knock Knock actress Ana Celia de Armas Caso has joined the already very impressive cast of Denis Villeneuve's sequel to Ridley Scott's sci-fi classic, Blade Runner. No details on her role are provided (I'm betting she's a replicant), but apparently she will be playing a main character.
De Armas will also feature in a couple of major releases this year: boxing biopic Hands of Stone, and Warner Bros.’ comedy drama War Dogs.
Production is expected to begin on Blade Runner 2 in July, for an October 6, 2017 release.
