It was a fun Summer blockbuster. Why can't we just leave it at that? People demand perfection in everything these days.

decent movie ... nothing more. I was expecting something better. Some fights were really cool (wings vs sword fight was the best of the bunch), some decent character development (although nothing spectacular, the characters were rather 2 - dimensional) But once the movie shifted into Ron Perlman/Charlie Day mode it kinda lost me. The final fight was weak. Plus the movie became way too cliche at the end.

P.S. Elba was good. Only good. Hollywood still doesn't know what talent do they have. Prometheus, Pacific Rim ... Shame he was wasted. Again.

I didn't notice anything wrong with this movie. Was distracted by all the robot and monster azz kicking. Love this film!

It was a fun film for those of us who grew up wanting to see giant monsters fighting giant robots in the most realistic way possible. If you can suspend disbelief, that is.
