Fox has released another behind the scenes video of Predators. This time producer Robert Rodriguez introduces us all to Royce, the mercenary played by actor Adrien Brody. Predators opens July 7th.

I think the biggest problem this site has, besides the ads with annoying audio, is that the temptation is there to learn too much about upcoming movies. I realize I want to go in blind and be dazzled.

OMG!!!!!! Adrien Brody looks like a skinny nerd. Ugh!!! Why can't they bring in Dwayne"The Rock" Johnson or Vin Diesel??? Better yet, I WOULD LOVE TO SEE RIDDICK GO AGAINST THE PREDATOR!!!!! That would be amazing!!!!!!! Let's start a petition to make that happen. LOL

Danny Glover and the other people Predator killed in Predator 2 weren't overly buff, so why do they need to be huge? It doesn't even make sense if you think about it, since Arnold was no match for the Predator in hand to hand combat and Arnold was knocked around like a little kid. So you're "they need to be big buff guys" statement/suggestion is [frick]ing pointless. Duh?

He was a writer who ended up being the action star in King Kong btw, but it's okay, since you're on the track of not knowing what you're talking about, I'll just add it to the list lol.

Wow I completely agree with Vital, who cares about his physical prowess? Brody is a seasoned actor, and Rodriguez is a casting superstar he wouldn't have put Brody in unless he thought that he could bring something to the flick. Secondly who really wants to see "The Rock" ruin another movie? Anyhow I am stoked about this flick like no other; Brody, Trejo, Fishburne are good casting calls, my concern lies solely in "Eric Foreman", I guess he will be some type of comic relief....

@Vital: Agreed, they don't need to be as buff as Arnie, come on, how many actual militant mercenaries are big clumpsy wrestler types? Answer: None! At least Brody can act!

@DrZoid: I think "Eric Foreman" wil be kneeling down during a battle against the predators and sayin: "God, I want you to kill Peter..erhmm..Predator!"

@Lucky...hahaha. Love the Foreman comment.

I agree with you guys. Putting a bunch of muscle heads would just be copying the first predator. People always gripe, and rightfully so, about studios and directors not having an original vision for a movie. Of course they are somewhat confined within the "predator" universe, but they have got to make their own mark on this movie without simply rehashing the original.

theartofoness-I totally agree. Kinda miss seeing a trailer before a movie and being totally blown away and suprissed about something that is coming out. But getting up to date info on cbm's is like crack.
