Two new clips have been released for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, director Edgar Wright's adaptation of the Scott Pilgrim comic book series by Bryan O'Malley.

In the first clip, Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) explains that Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera) will have to defeat her seven "evil" exes in combat if they are to continue dating, but all Scott hears is "dating."



In the second clip, Ramona explains away her fourth ex, Roxy Richter (Mae Whitman), as a "bi-curious" phase, which makes Roxy "bi-furious."



Scott Pilgrim vs. The World opens August 13th!

@gambitfreak: Yeah, me neither! Can you believe that they screened the entire movie for free during SDCC?!? Edgar Wright walked out of the convention center and led several hundred people to a local cinema for a free screening!!!

Huh.. I didn't hear about that, Sweet I've seen Wright in a lot of interviews, he seems like a cool guy.

idk about Cera leading, i thought scott would be different on screen.
I read the complete series now, it was pretty all right, a bit off beat from what i'd expect, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Yo I'm new to this website.

But figured because a lot of cool comic book movies are surfacing lately I decided to eventually sign up to this GODSEND of a website (its like being on cloud 9 when I read articles on here). Your all fantastic writers whoever writes the articles.

I've been reading for like 5 years but never had the courage to sign up. Well now I have, hope it pays off.

Oh yeah them clips were frickin hilarious, especially the 2nd one. Scott Pilgrim is going to rock your/our boxers/pants/underwear/knickers/thongs/G-string's off.

While I've been reading this website for the past 5 years I've been reading all of your comments, besides other users. I agree with everything you say.

Especially regarding Spider-Man. The Spider-Man reboot seriously sucks. I mean why reboot it. Why not carry on like the James Bond Series and just change the actor when he gets too old/expensive/crappy etc, etc. But keep the other actors for as long as possible (E.G MJ, Jameson, Aunt May, Harry etc). They did it with Q, Moneypenny and M in the James Bond films, why not Spider-Man. I just don't get it.

Scott Pilgrim will rock PUNY SPIDEY INTO THE GROUND!!!

Exactly with the SPIDEY reboot, couldn't agree more with all you just wrote!

SONY don't make no sense lol, ya right! Man if they wanted a total rebooted franchise, a SPIDER-MAN 2099 Bladerunner type movie would be cool, too early for a SPIDER-MAN reboot, yes deff, the 007 direction would've worked so much better!

You know now that I've read the comic series I really don't think Michael Cera is the best pick for Scott. Michael Cera doesn't seem to have the same goofball anture and he's too skinny.

These clips are awesome and I can't wait to watch this! The comics were hysterical.

@Brent I just finished reading the series myself and I can honestly say it's worth the read. I found them to be pretty damn funny.
