Jessica Alba returns as Nancy Callahan in Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller's Sin City: A Dame to Kill For later this year, and as part of Entertainment Weekly's summer preview, they caught up with the actress to ask how the character has evolved in the sequel. "She was more naive in the first film. Ignorance was bliss. In this one there’s no bliss and no ignorance. I wanted her to transition from being a victim to being someone who’s in control of her own story." Are you guys looking forward to the movie? Be sure to sound off with your thoughts below!

I saw this article and was on my way over here to comment "Jessica Alba? What is this 2004?" but, Photoshop aside, that's suddenly turned into incoherent babbling with some drooling thrown in for good measure.

I was so annoyed when she was cast as Nancy in the first one.
It was practically the only flaw in the movie.

Whats done is done so I suppose they should stick with her in the sequel.
Still...its dissapointing.

Not a fan of delusional prudes who take flesh bearing roles away from actresses that can play the part as written and don't have childish hang ups on cinematic nudity. "My Grandma might see me naked", I really hope she was being sarcastic, but given what producers and directors have spent money on (that stupid shower scene in Machete, the fact that her character in Sin City is a Coyote Ugly girl rather than a stripper) I think she really IS that naive.

"I hope we get to see her fine ass naked in Sin City." LOL, you don't really know much about this wacky woman? She doesn't do nude scenes, and even just for suggested nudity Films she was working on have had to hire digital fx artists to remove clothing so she looked naked. Meanwhile, another actress could have done the role with zero prude drama. She needs to drop the faux sex appeal and go with the other prudes on Hallmark Channel and play someones Mom. Screw this scab, Hollywood needs to hire actresses as strippers who actually strip.

I respect women that don't do nudity for film. A women can be sexy and portray sexy characters without getting nude. If you want nudity, go watch porn. I have yet to see a film enhanced by nudity.

What kills me is she's so hot & that cover teases my goody bits..but she plays a stripper but NEVER STRIPS!!
It's sad..Rosario Dawson,Carla Gugino,Jaimie King..they all are lovely & talented..AND WILL SHOW US THE GOODS!
Alba is a tease.

Don't hire an actress in an R-rated movie to play a topless stripper who won't go topless.
It's asinine.
