We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

Starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Colm Feore, Paul Giamatti, and Sally Field, the film is set to hit theatres on May 2, 2014.

Electro looks cool, but Fox as Max Dillon looks like Jim Carrey's Edward Nygma (not how he looked as Riddler basically); seems from everything we've heard n see he'll be a dweeb fanboy gone bad, wish they just made a straight up ruthless power hungry asshole villain who knows hrs 'special' n exploits it instead of what I highly assume will be yet another 'sympathetic' villain.

Desrow says

Look at this the pathetic Marvelites like Yossarian saying this is bad, let me guess what's good for him... every shitty movie from Marvel Studios. Seems like some people can't live without Kevin Fiege dick in their mouth.

Well, he's entitled to his own opinion, what are you his mother? And here's a heads up, Marvel Studios was a game changer for every single comic book movie. All in all, Warner Bros. has Kevin Feige's dick up their mouths since they want to ride on the entire Marvel cinematic universe idea and Yoss must not be sucking Fiege's dick too hard since Fiege was the executive producer for The Amazing Spider-Man. That's why it's always important to do your research before insulting someone.

and I'm pretty sure Marvel Studios is the cause of Warner Bros. putting nearly every hero in DC Comics in a Superman sequel.

More of the same as far as the look but fox is gonna deff shit the bed in this roll anyway. As fans we have to endure yet another senseless ethnic reboot as marvel panders to a certain demographic, and watch as a proven character is acted into a completely unproven direction by fox who since his oscar for ray takes liberty's to intentionaly ethnicly orthentasize his characters like its his write to do so. I can only hope the director curbs this unnecessar . Quirk.

Jollem

lol, you're basically stating that the first person that made the map made Earth. Marvel Studios set the bar for all comic book films without having to be dark like how other films tried to go. It's not our fault that a film with a talking tree and raccoon is getting made before a Justice League film, or in this case a "live action" Justice League film since all Warner Bros. does is make animated films and are too scared to take risks.

Invictor - 12/29/2013, 5:11 PM
The Warner Bros logic: "We'll make a Jonah Hex film, it's less of a risk than making a Flash or Wonder Woman film"

Hahahaha! Post a DC story, Marvel trolls show up. Post a Marvel story, DC trolls show up. Doesn't get any better than this.
And its beginning to take this site down. How about all you trolls show up at the next SDCC and fight it out like nerds....cosplay competition!

Hemogoblin only speeks the truth. Unfortunatly the only way to tell if the ethnic reboot is a sucksess will be box office sales.
