I know the acting will be horrible...I'm not going to watch a Spider-Man movie for the horrendously ugly Emma Stone, or the emo, ah my parents left me at a young age Parker...The overly enthusiastic Uncle Ben...or parents that don't even work for Shield...Roger did a great job at describing the new costume lmao!!..

However, the visuals look awesome; especially the practical wire work...I'm lookinng forward to seeing the development of Peter into Spidey, instead of a sudden, Hey, I'm Spider-Man now...The ring scene sent chills down my spine...oh and I can't forget the main reason I'm going to see this: The Lizard/Rhys Ifans...The sequel better have an equal or better villain, or an appearance by Ifans...because I will not be seeing it otherwise...

Really? Your gonna let reviews tell you how a great movie will be??? That's total B.S.!

I think the movie critics of this generation likes their Spider-Man a big cry baby over an ugly azz redhead MaryJane (Kirsten Dunst).

And you trolls should be thankful they rebooted the Spider-Man movies, becasue I read ideas of a Spider-Man 4. And to tell you the truth. It sucked.

Am I the only one he thinks that at some point Sony will screw Webb like they did Raimi? And take complete creative control of the movie? *cough cough*Spider-Man 3*cough cough*

@TheWebSlinger

Um...Have you seen Raimi's other films? This movie was MORE his than ANY of the others.

All Sony did was ask him to use Venom. The script was actually WRITTEN by Raimi and his brother.

You give a brilliant B-Movie director $300M to make a movie, and give him free reign (b/c he made two HUGE hits for you previously), you GET a $300M B movie. Which is exactly what that film is...right down to the black slime from outer space.

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA.

Oh, sorry, I was laughing at the use of the word "art" in the title of this article.

The bland directing was the worst thing about this film. No, Webb wasn't as much out of his element as Campbell clearly was on Green Lantern (Hey, Martin, FYI: The cameras can actually MOVE now!...They can provide tracks and EVERYthing!), but there's very little fun and excitement in this film...in spite of a LOT of scenes where there SHOULD be. (As a for instance, that first moment when Peter's in his costume, it s/b a big WOW moment...and it's not.)
