Fan Cast: Dream Cast For Marvel/Sony Spider-Man

By now we all know that Marvel and Sony have struck a deal that would allow  Spider-Man to join and take his rightful place in the MCU. So Spidey will first appear in a Marvel movie first which common sense says it will be Captain America Civil War and will get a rebooted solo movie in 2017 by Sony. Best bet is that Marvel and Sony will have Peter Parker behind the mask and he should be. Since this news broke some fans have been clamoring  for Miles Morales but the general movie going audience doesn't know who Miles Morales is nor that he eventually becomes Spider-Man. Now maybe down the line we'll see Miles as Spidey like Falcon could become Captain America further down the line but I don't see it happening for a few  years. If Marvel is staying true to the source material for Civil War then it has to be Peter rather than Miles cause Miles revealing his identity doesn't hold the same weight especially to audience. I want to see Peter Parker's dual life as hero and teenager done right in Kevin Feige's hand, hopefully Amy Pascal and everyone at Sony will just fall back and let Marvel do their movie magic. Now with all that said here is my dream cast for the new Spider-Man reboot.

1. Spider-Man

Starting of with Spider-Man/Peter Parker my choice is a actor that already seems to be in the running Logan Lerman. Lerman has that awkward nerdy personality with charm, charisma and boyish goods. So it's believable that he could be the nerdiest guy in the classroom and get the hot girl next door. If this guy can hold his own onscreen with Brad Pitt then I'm confident he can do the same alongside Chris Evans And Robert Downey Jr.

2. Aunt May

One name Meryl Streep ENOUGH SAID!!!!!!!!

3. Gwen Stacy

I thought Emma Stone was great as Gwen and one of the best things of the TASM franchise was the chemistry between her and Andrew Garfield. But since Spidey is being rebooted we need a different take on the character. I say go with the angle from the the Ultimate comics mixed with how she was portrayed on the short lived but great Spectacular Spider-Man Animated Series. Gwen doesn't need to be Peter's love interest cause we've seen that before, but rather one of his best friends and intellectual equal. Have her be initially shy but witty, unconcerned about her looks but gradually gain confidence in her appearance. I would cast Ariel Winter in this role, just watch Modern Family and you'll see why.

3. Maryjane Watson

Marvel and Sony want to refrain from the love stories but that doesn't mean Maryjane can't be in the movie. I want to see dynamic between Peter and Maryjane when she shows up at his telling him he he the jackpot Tiger. Take a page out of the Spectacular Spider-Man when Anna Watson and Aunt May set them on a blind date  for Midtown High homecoming dance but Peter quickly realizes she's the girl he can't have cause of his dual life as Spider-Man not wanting to put her in danger and having a job at the Daily Bugle. Last we saw Maryjane in portrayed in a movie she was poorly miscast with Kristen Dunst, in my opinion I think Jane Levy would be great in the role. She looks the part, has a lot of spunk a great comedic timing. She's proving to excelled in every and has gotten better with every role.

3. Harry Osborn

My choice for Harry Osborn is Eddie Redmayne. Redmayne was in the running before for the in TASM franchise, his profile keep getting better and better now even nominated for a Academy Award. I know he's 33 years old but he looks like he's 25. I think he could play well off Lerman as Spidey.

4. Norman Osborn

Bryan Cranston as Norman Osborn is a perfect fit. Cranston can go from playing a goofy dad on Malcolm In The Middle to a teacher turned meth dealer on Breaking Bad, this guy has prove he has range. Not only could he be a great foe for Spider-Man to deal with but the entire MCU. Imagine Oscorp and Stark Industries battling it out for technological supremacy, he would be a pain in the ass for Tony Stark. Let's not forget Norman at one time was running S.H.I.E.L.D. he might be the one to restore it after the event of Captain America Winter Soldier.

5. Jonah Jameson

This one is pretty simple I think everyone loved J.K. Simmons portrayal. He pretty has said in past interviews that he would take on the role again so why not?

Wow, The actors you have chosen I have seen on literally every single fancast lately. You should have just commented on them that you agreed with them. Also add pics and more characters.
