Fan-Cast: Spider-Verse Rogues Gallery and Supporting Cast in the MCU.

Here's my fan-casting of Spider-Man characters not currently in the MCU as he is not fully owned by Disney and Sony and Disney are currently in the midst of creating a new deal.

In the 1990s, Marvel Studios sold off the rights to many of their characters, causing the Marvel Universe to become seperate from itself. However, as years passed, and Disney purchased Marvel Studios, the company has slowly worked to regain all of their characters. SEC filings have recently reported that The Hulk will return to Marvel Studios in June 2023 as the distribution rights will have expired by that date. Though, one such character not fully back in the fold is Spider-Man(who is shared between Sony and Marvel Studios). This caused them to fight over which of his supporting characters and villains Marvel would get to used within their solo Spider-Man films. Although,Spider-Man: No Way Home and Spider-Man: Freshman Year have made the prospect of the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Sandman, Electro, the Lizard, Mary Jane Watson, Gwen Stacy and Harry Osborn appearing within the mainstream MCU much more likely.

Of course, rumours persist that Spider-Man: Freshman Year will be cancelled before it is released. However, fret not, the series will not be cancelled as Marvel producer Jeff Trammell shared an update that hinted that the show may truely be safe on Disney+ as Marvel completely owns the animation rights to Spider-Man characters. Although, Tom Holland may not reprise his role as Peter Parker as his contract has been signed by Sony and not Disney themselves.

If Marvel were to regain more of the production and box office rights from Sony(which is highly likely at this point), I believe I would introduce these certain characters into the next Spider-Man trilogy where Peter Parker struggles to adapt to life of the memory of his identity being erased from the world.

Supporting Characters:

Abigail Cowen, Sadie Sink or Ariel Winter as the "real Mary Jane Watson.

Sabrina Carpenter or Chloe Grace Moretz as Gwen Stacy

Timothee Chalamet, Elliot Page or Thomas Brodie-Sangster as Harry Osborn

Ernie Hudson or Denzel Washington as Robbie Robertson

Tom Hanks, Steve Carell or Matthew Broderick as Uncle Ben Parker

Mark Harmon or Sean Bean as Captain George Stacy

Meryl Streep or Sandra Bullock as Cassandra Webb/Madame Web

Bella Thorne or Ana Taylor-Joy as Felicia Hardy/Black Cat

Hayden Christensen or Josh Hutcherson  as  Dr. Michael Morbius/Morbius

Amber Heard or Hilary Duff as Julie Carpenter

Dakota Fanning or Sabrina Carpenter as Mattie Franklin

Victoria Justice or Alessia Cara as Anya Corazon

Stephen Lang or  Keanu Reeves as Ezekiel Sims

Stephen Moyer or Tobey Maguire as Richard Parker(as a casting gag for the Raimi Trilogy and Tobey Maguire's appearance as Spider-Man In Spider-Man: No Way Home)

Rose Byrne or Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Mary Parker.

Villains:

Matthew McConaughey, Patrick Wilson or  Bryan Cranston as Norman Osborn/Green Goblin

Mike Myers, Mark Hamill or Jared Harris as Dr. Otto Octavius/Doctor Octopus

John Cena or Mark Wahlberg as Flint Marko/Sandman

Aaron Paul or Tom Felton as Maxwell "Max" Dillion/Electro

Aaron Eckhardt or Hugh Laurie as Dr. Curtis "Curt" Connors/the Lizard

Jeffrey Dean Morgan or Luke Evans  as Sergi Kravinoff/Kraven The Hunter

Alexander Ludwig, KJ Apa or Alan Richson as Edward "Eddie" Brock/Venom

Mark Hamill or Eric Roberts as Gustav Fiers/The Gentleman

Thor Bjornson  or William Morrissey as Aleksei Sytsevich/The Rhino

Will Arnett or Topher Grace as Alastair Smythe

Jon Hamm as the Foreigner

Jeremy Irons or Keanu Reeves as Ezekiel Sims

Keke Palmer  or Halie Bailey as Calypso

Cameron Monaghan or Aaron Stanford as Cletus Kasady/Carnage

Whatever the outcome, more Spider-Man in the MCU seems inevitable as Marvel and Sony are working on yet another deal, so that Spider-Man remain in the MCU for the time being. Whether Marvel distributining 75% of all Spider-Man productions and collaborations from then on or through other means. In all the while as fans are writing their fan-cast for the remaining Spider-Man characters Marvel Studios has yet to introduce into the MCU.

Marvel Studios owning 75% of the production and box office profits   would mean that Sony would cancel all of its Spider-Man universe spin-off films and television series and allow Marvel to freely use whatever Spider-Man characters that they want. It would also mean that they would reclaim the distribution rights to Spider-Man films and the films would be distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Thus, they would never have to battle over which characters they would use in the Sony Spider-Man-universe or MCU films again. Should this happen, Freshman Year would still be a multiversal story. However, the MCU would finally allow Spider-Man's origin within the MCU to be explored. They would also announce Spider-Man content at future D23 expos and San Diego Comic-Cons instead of Sony announcing it at CCXP

Sony would have as minimal involvement within the MCU Spider-Man as possible while Marvel promotes Spider-Man in the MCU full-time. Which would mean that the only  Spider-franchise that they would continue to develop  would be the Into The Spider-Verse franchise. Which second and third films titled  Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse and Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse will be released on June 2nd, 2023 and March 29, 2024, respectively.

Would you like to see these Spider-Man characters within the MCU? If so, how would you introduce them in a way that would strengthen Spider-Man's story within the MCU?
