Felicity Jones Talks THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2; "I’m The Goblin’s Girlfriend"

Felicity Jones recently confirmed that her role in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 would be a villainous one, and in an interview with View London, the British actress has let slip some more details on her character in the Marc Webb helmed sequel. "It’s all quite shrouded in secrecy, but I’m the Goblin’s girlfriend - I’m in a relationship with him, and his accomplice. I’m on the dark side." So, that's the Green Goblin confirmed, but does this add any weight to the rumours that Harry Osborn will be the one to take up the mantle in this movie? Jones is certainly a more likely girlfriend for Dane DeHaan's Harry than Chris Cooper's Norman, but the description she gives of him sounds like it would be more suited to the latter. Either way, she wasn't willing to name the character she's playing! "I can’t say actually. It’s all in the vaults of Marvel. I love all that secrecy, I think it’s great. It builds anticipation, there’s too much transparency in everything these days." Who do you guys think Jones could be playing? Sound off with your thoughts in the usual place!

In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.
