Hmmm I don't know he looks like an Eddie Brock because of the shave head but he's most likely flash because he's with gwen. Maybe flash and Gwen are an item in this movie but most like not because as I sed before in the Gwen pics that they are probably filming the ending of the movie first an Peter and Gwen maybe together by that point

That old man next to Gwen could be uncle Ben but like I sed before this scene is most likely the ending of the movie and uncle Ben would be dead before this. They might not even show uncle Ben they'll prolly use him in a flash back or intro of the movie like hulk

@Kabfire What do u mean the cast is getting worse. Have u seen most of the actors act in different movies. Plus its beter to have a younger fresher cast that will give it there all, and if u think about it its good they get paid less just think if this movie blows then money wont be wasted and they can try to reboot it again. Im not hating just saying

Denis Leary as Captain George Stacy: Gwen's father and a New York City Police Department Captain.

Irrfan Khan as Van Atter: One of the villains in the movie. In the comics he is known to turn into the supervillain known as the Proto-Goblin.

Annie Parisse as Van Atter's wife.

Gunsmith, I also hope they go the organic route. It was a bit of a stretch even in the comics that a 16 year old concieved through great stroke of genius over night, how to engineer a chemical compound that increases in mass in open air and hardens to the strength of braided steel cables yet is flexible enough to function as webbing AND manufact a wrist mounted delivery system all with a chemistry set! And how come this has been the limitation to his inspirational genius? Making this believable in a two hour movie simply isn't possible.

@TheMyth Because a teen who gets bit by a radioactive spider and does battle with a man who turns into a lizard is totally believable. It's a movie, suspension of belief is part of the contract we unknowingly sign when we shell out 9 bucks to go see it. I, for one, hope they go the route of web shooters.

after reading about proto goblin i believe that chris zylka is harry osbourn and that is norman osbourn's funeral. Why? because the van atter after turning into the proto goblin goes back to osbourn's power plant and attacks norman. Maybe norman is supposed dead like harvey dent in the dark knight and later returns as green goblin

Why is it that it's totally conceivable that he can climb buildings and have super strength after getting bitten by a radioactive spider but it's just too much of a stretch to think that he could engineer webshooters???

It wasnt a stroke of luck that he created the web fluid compound, that was part of his power, he knew, like a spider how to make web. Webshooters FTW. And if he can understand how ironmans armor works (which he does in the ultimate series which this is ment to be loosely following) why cant he make a sticky substance lol. Also if this does follow ultimate, then its his dads formula that makes the web compound, either way theres a way to explain it.

ALSO i wouldnt mind me some web pits that would be rad.

And i would say that was george stacys funeral as gwen looks more sad than anyone, because thats how she ends up living with pete in the ultimate universe.

plus if you see that guy in a basketball jersey he will probs look more like flash.
