Spider-Man: Homecoming is the #1 movie in the world and while it's expected to face heavy competition from War for the Planet of the Apes this weekend, it still has a pretty solid shot at retaining its spot at the top of the worldwide box office for the second week in a row.
As the studios and fans everywhere continue to celebrate the film's success, Nerdist has obtained three pretty cool alternate posters for the Jon Watts-directed film, which contain homages to two of the John Hughes films that helped inspire the latest reboot (The Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller's Day Off) and to one unexpected Scorsese classic (Taxi Driver).

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.).
