In this latest clip from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (released via Toonado.com), you'll want to keep your pausing fingers at the ready because we see literally hundreds (thousands?) of web-slinging Variants heading into action.

In the sneak peek, Miguel O'Hara, a.k.a. Spider-Man 2099, has tasked the entire Spider Society with taking Miles Morales down.

Along the way, the teenager finds himself being targeted by Insomniac's Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2211 from the comic books, Spider-Rex, and Spider-Cat, among others. As you might expect, the animation style here is nothing short of spectacular and we're sure this only just scratches the surface of what's to come next week.

If you can't wait, a major spoiler about the sequel's big live-action cameo found its way online yesterday thanks to a newly released promo. You can read all about that by clicking here

Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar-winning Spider-Verse saga, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn's full-time, friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence.

But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.

The movie stars Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya, Karan Soni, Jason Schwartzman, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez, Greta Lee, Rachel Dratch, Jorma Taccone, Shea Whigham, and Oscar Isaac.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is set to be released in theaters on June 2, 2023.

I'm avoiding all clips and future trailers, it's amazing how much they like to spoil for marketing purposes

Original Alex Ross concept design for the 2002 Sam Raimi Spider-Man movie at 22 seconds (right above the badass bitch's spikey shoulder).

Now if they could just see fit to include an Earth X cameo...

This looks like so much fun. Gonna see it on the biggest, loudest screen I can find.

That said, ever since I figured out that Shameik Moore was Raekwon on the Hulu Wu-Tang show, that's all I can hear when Miles speaks. Spider-Chef.
