SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE Hot Toys Figures Showcase Miles G. Morales/Prowler And Spider-Punk

Hot Toys has revealed two more figures based on Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, offering perhaps our best look yet at the costumes worn by Miles G. Morales/Prowler and Spider-Punk. Check them out...

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse wrapped up with a huge cliffhanger when Miles Morales found himself stranded on Earth-42. It was there the spider that bit him originally hailed from, hence why the Spider Society's teleportation machine sent him there.

In that alternate reality, the wall-crawling superhero came face-to-face with Miles G. Morales, Earth-42's Prowler in place of Aaron Davis. Now, an upcoming Hot Toys figure (first shared on Toonado.com), we have our best look yet at that Variant's costume and it's fair to say he has all the makings of a suitably formidable opponent for Spider-Man.

We're hoping the two versions of Miles ultimately choose to team up, though that might be unlikely if Miles G. learns his world is in disarray because the spider destined to bite either him or Peter Parker ended up on Earth-1610 (with no Spider-Man, the Sinister Six Cartel easily took charge of Earth-42's New York City).

Hot Toys has also dropped the first preview images of its Spider-Punk figure, giving us some detailed shots of his suit and the hero's appearance beneath the mask...which wasn't always the easiest to see given his unique animation style!

Both figures come with a tonne of accessories and are highly accurate to what we saw in the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse sequel. Miles has already been revealed, while the upcoming Spider-Man 2099 underwent a massive redesign following backlash from collectors due to exposed joints that made it look more like a Marvel Legends figure.

Spider-Gwen has previously been teased by the company but has yet to be officially unveiled, suggesting she'll join a long list of figures who never actually get made!

You can check out Hot Toys' take on Miles G. Morales and Spider-Punk in the Instagram posts below.

In Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar-winning Spider-Verse saga. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn's full-time, friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence.

But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.

The movie stars Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya, Karan Soni, Jason Schwartzman, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez, Greta Lee, Rachel Dratch, Jorma Taccone, Shea Whigham, and Oscar Isaac.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is now available on Digital and Blu-ray.

Im just at a crossroads. I want to spend the money now on all of these. But I know I'll be pissed if the costumes are tweaked a bit, or if they happen to surpass expectations and the third film is even better and yields better scenes for the toys. Kind of akin to getting Thanos or Iron Man in Infinity War compared to Endgame.
