Liz Allen, Ned Leeds And More Confirmed For SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING; Actors Playing Them Revealed
We still don't know the full list of characters who will appear in Spider-Man: Homecoming, but Zendaya, Tony Revolori, Jacob Batalon, and Laura Harrier have all revealed who they're playing...
When Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige brought the cast of Spider-Man: Homecoming out on stage at Comic-Con yesterday, he neglected to reveal who's playing who! However, Entertainment Weekly later caught up with the cast of the reboot and finally got some character names from them. While surnames weren't actually revealed, comic book fans will definitely recognise all of these guys.
As previously reported, Zendaya is Michelle (presumably a new take on Michelle Gonzales, Peter Parker's one-time roommate in the source material), Tony Revolori is Flash (Thompson), Jacob Batalon is Ned (Leeds), and Laura Harrier is Liz (Allen). The latter seemed to indicate that this lot will all be friends, though Revolori confirmed he will be Peter's bully in the movie, so that remains the same!
As for the decision to make The Vulture the villain, director Jon Watts explained: "Vulture’s the first real villain in the Spider-Man comics. He’s in the second issue. He’s one of the classics from the best rogues’ gallery out there, and we’ve never seen him, he’s never been brought to life." Check out the video for more comments and then let us know your thoughts on these characters in the usual place.
