It seems Spidey has been getting that nice new outfit all torn up again. Was it Electro? The Rhino? No idea, but we do have some new snaps from the set of Marc Webb's Amazing Spider-Man sequel after the jump..

These latest Amazing Spider-Man 2 set photos reveal a damaged costume. Apparently, the filming of the fight scene took place today.





Also, just now Marc Webb posted Day 16 production picture, and it features Joel the Props guy again.



In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. @LEEE ugh......I'm kind of worried about Electro. Foxx might do well, and it might turn out to be cool. We need some pics of his suit and what he'll look like.

Rhino shouldn't be a villain at all. Alex O'Hirn would be cool but, no Rhino himself. That would be a horrible mistake. I'm not worried bout Electro cause everything Jamie Foxx said about the movie version sounds like a much neeed improvement for the character. He's always been a shit character. Once Rhino is confirmed to NOT be a villain. Then, I might really start looking forward to this film. But, I really want to see the Electro suit though.

I'm betting Electro will be good. Foxx is a great actor, and Electro is kind of an easy role. The character I am most concerned for is the one from which I obtained my name, The Rhino. They better pull some miracle with him or I'm gonna be pissed.

Also, where the hell are the eyes? haha.

@Rhino: No offense or anything but, if Rhino really is a villain and becomes The Rhino in the movie. It's going to destroy the movie. Chances of it being good will have been gone.

His Electro will be fantastic. I can't see this..



transitioning well onto the big screen even with another actor in the suit. There's just too much going on with it and would come out looking idiotic.

If they go with the Ultimate version it fits Jamie's build and would look amazing on screen.

People said the same thing about the Lizard for Amazing Spider-Man and look how that turned out. Rhino if done correctly is a really great character. IF they don't make him just an ignorant stooge like he's portrayed as in the cartoons, and stick with him as he was in the comics. He should prove a worthy villain. For example, Rhino in the Gauntlet run was a really good read, and even his first appearance was great. Spider-Man had to use his head to beat him and not just duke it out in the middle of New York. He was challenged. Rhino was fast and immensely powerful. Spidey had to move and react quickly to tire him out and stay ahead of him. I think you'll be surprised if they write this movie correctly and not pull a Spider-Man 3.

I hope this film turns out okay. I'm still waiting for a live action showdown between Spiderman and Shocker or Spiderman and Mysterio.

Obviously Giamatti can't pull this off at all..



But he may can pull this off given that he is a good actor and plays intelligent roles quite well...

I don't want some big dumb DNA splicing animal version of the Rhino. I want a strategic powerhouse.

I didn't know that. I've only known the dumb version of, Rhino. I knew that, The lizard, was going to be great cause I know almost everything there is to know about the character and I knew the character had depth. For Rhino, I just knew that the character was pretty much a moron. The way I look at it, if Rhino is a villain in this movie. A way I thought of them killing both characters is have Rhino accidentally impale Electro with his horn and Electro's electricity kills Rhino.

Jason Statham is such a good hand to hand combatant thought, I feel like he'd be a wasted on a character like the Shocker. Attitude wise he totally nails it.

Nah man Rhino is actually pretty interesting. He just gets a bad rep a lot, since in some ways he is seen as just the muscle of the Sinister Six and the way he was portrayed in the 90's Cartoon and Spectacular Spider-Man. Webb has a chance to change that view though with this movie. On the Lizard, yeah I love his character and always have. I loved Torment and Shed storylines. But yeah I recommend you looking into the first appearance of Rhino, and his part of the Gauntlet series where you see 2 Rhinos facing off. Rhino definitely offers a big challenge to Spider-Man, and so does Electro when not written in that cheesy, "i'm gonna blast you! Ah shit I hit Rhino." kind of manner.

Many fan-fic's have had the RHINO put up against Spidey at the beginning, like smash in your face action even before the movie gets really started, that'll be cool if that's how it plays here...

Maybe he gets beat and NY Finest takes him away in copper van before even the starter credits start up? : D

Not that I wanna see a white guy play BLADE [frick] that lol... wonder who they get to replace Snipes.... very hard to match that brilliance!

Still if Jimmy Olsen turns out to be a girl, I'm off WB/DC movies for life! : D

Yeah but in those cases it's changing a major identity of a character who was already black for diversity purposes you know? lol.

Yeah I wasn't happy about the Olsen thing either but still Olsen was just a buddy character for Superman so he could potentially be changed around without too much offense taken because they could still keep the same dynamic between Jimmy and Superman.

basically what I mean is, lesser roles are malleable... They can be reworked with little irritation, but major roles are dangerous to change. (i.e. making Spider-Man black, Powerman white, Storm White, or Logan black) People lose interest when this happens because they no longer identify with their favorite characters. However, villains usually can be reworked along with lesser supporting roles due to the fact that well, villains die and then someone takes up the mantle or copy cats arrive etc and lesser characters can change but still have the same feel because they arent the iconic figures in the story.

So is it true about Jimmy? Thought it was just a stupid rumor, god I hope so...

Problem is you grow up with these characters and if their changed too much they cease to be the characters you love and totally ruin and destroy the movie for you.

Plus Jimmy's like one of the top characters in a Super flick.

A variation on Electro's classic costume has a lot of potential. You just have to drop the green. Electricity should be blue, if it has any color at all. Other than that, he can look pretty cool:
