Jamie Foxx's Daughter Says SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME Star Has "Been Out Of Hospital For Weeks"

Spider-Man: No Way Home star Jamie Foxx was hospitalized a little over a month ago after suffering an undisclosed medical emergency, and despite the most recent reports indicating that the actor's condition may have worsened, his daughter has now shared a far more positive update.

Corrine Foxx took to Instagram to reveal that her dad has actually been out of the hospital for weeks and is now recuperating at home.

“Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support. We have an exciting work announcement coming next week too!”

The cause of Foxx’s medical emergency has still not been disclosed, but some reports are claiming that he may have had a stroke. Despite Corrine's post, it seems some are still under the impression that Jamie is not quite out of the woods yet.

“My heart is heavy this morning,” actor Nia Long wrote on Twitter earlier today. “Praying for our brother Jamie Foxx. My love and prayers run deep for you and your loved ones.”

A lot of people are wondering why Foxx hasn't released some kind of statement himself if he's up and about, but we're sure one is imminent. For now, you can check out Corrine's insta-story post below.

If he is well enough to play pickleball, why would he not be making his own statement?! This is really weird to me.

@Shivermetimbers - Because he might be taking time away from all forms of media for mental clarity as well? Maybe he's focused on his physical recovery and doesn't want to read outlandish lies being posted about it that could make his heart condition worse?

Now that's what I wanted to hear!

it's literally that gag from the Simpsons when Burns went from being declared dead to alive because he changed hospitals.

This is beyond weird and it’s gotten ridiculous. I hope he’s ok, but why isn’t he saying anything?

@BBARBER23 - because his life and health is not our entertainment. He's allowed autonomy

@MyCoolYoung - very true. There’s nothing entertaining about this. I just think if it was me, I’d get tired of the BS, let everyone know I’m good, now mind your biz.

@BBARBER23 - his daughter says in her statement they have an announcement this upcoming week. I think that's enough.

Jaime doesn't have to hear anything that's being speculated about him.

It says more about the society that they'd just make up stuff and run with it unchecked. This anonymous source bs is getting out of hand. People can say anything and have everyone in an uproar when it's obvious all these people want is privacy

@MyCoolYoung - ya I think that goes back to my original statement. This shit has gotten outta hand. I don’t need to know exactly what’s wrong or what happened. Not my business. I do enjoy him as an actor and person, so I just hoped he was ok. Great points tho!

I certainly wish Mr. Foxx the best, but we literally didn't need to know about any of this this whole time, especially considering they wished for privacy, and are bothered about the media running wild with speculation.
