SPIDER-MAN 3 Fan-Art Pits All Three Spider-Men (And Daredevil) Against Alfred Molina's Doctor Octopus

Alfred Molina has been confirmed for the upcoming Spider-Man 3, while Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Charlie Cox are all strongly rumored to have roles. This fan-art unites them in one epic scene!

The trades have confirmed that Spider-Man 3 will pit Tom Holland's web-slinger against Jamie Foxx's Electro and Alfred Molina's Doctor Octopus, while less reliable sources have claimed his Spidey will have some backup from fellow Peter Parkers, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. Similar sources claim Charlie Cox will return as Matt Murdock, a character better known as Daredevil.

In response to these reports, one talented artist has created a piece of imagery bringing together the three Spider-Men, and the Man Without Fear, and pitting them against Doc Ock.

As @ultraraw26 points out, "I'm not sure if [Doctor Octopus] can go at it alone with all 3 [Spider-Men] and [Daredevil], but since some of you are not a fan of emotional stuff, I thought why not do some death and destruction type shit."

What we see here may not be perfect, but it does offer a fun idea of what fans can potentially expect from Spider-Man 3, and we certainly wouldn't say no to a scene like this with all those characters.

The same artist has shared another piece, reuniting Garfield's Peter Parker with Gwen Stacy. The latter, however, looks to be from another world as she's dressed as Spider-Gwen. Emma Stone is rumored to return as Gwen, while Kirsten Dunst is reportedly expected to reprise her role as Mary Jane Watson.

Daredevil is in desperate need of an MCU quality suit.

@SonOfAGif - The suit very much looks like it's the same designer as the Avengers Captain America suit. The only problem I had with it was the neck area sagging (which is just hard to get right for everybody), and the color being a bit too dark/maroon. Also, they clearly didn't have the confidence to shoot it in very good lighting (and probably didn't have the time to baby it the way a movie production can).

But honestly, I still like it a lot, especially with the mask from the second season. When it looks good, it looks damn good to me.

Tommy Tiny Lister would have been the best person to recast as that version of the Kingpin, and now he's passed too :'(

Too bad Molina is damn near 70, carrying an extra 20+lbs and will never look that menacing again.

@inkniron - I mean, Doc Ock’s always been a schlubby looking villain

@tmp3 - that and the original doc ock suit from spiderman 2 was a trenchcoat, the go to choice for people trying to hide their weight.

@tmp3 - He may have been, but I've never seen him in the Geritol/Metamucil asge range to my recollection. Not sure if a shave, hair cut and dye are going to do it.

They need to cast this guy as the MCU version of Dock Ock. He has the voice and everything.

@Darkknight2149 - He was great in Barry. He was in Joker and Watchmen too, iirc

When they said they were trying to bring Emma Stone back as Gwen, I just assumed they meant the Gwen who died in TASM 2, it never even crossed my mind that she could be Spider-Gwen instead... Hell if they're doing the Spider-Verse then why not!

@AC1 - i was thinking that and having james francos harry as a heroic goblin in his universe. That could be a great arc to end both spidermen storylines while we're here. Lets hope the rumor of all these spidermen coming together at the very end isnt true. While i disagree with this being a spiderverse movie, if you're gonna do it go all out and actually conclude these stories.

@Origame - agreed, I'm not keen on the idea of a Spider-Verse (seems way too soon especially with everything else being juggled with MCU Spidey's story arc) but yeah if they're gonna do it there's no point in half-assing it

@AC1 - No surprise judging by her popularity and how Sony is handling this power drive. I'm guessing this formula will eventually burn out and land Spider-Man ultimately in the MCU permanently. I see Sony either collapsing or being bought out reverting the rights back to Marvel

Genuine question for Spider-Man fans, is it not frustrating that he spent 2 films in Iron Mans shadow and now other Spidermen will be a focus? Feels like he’s never getting a chance to be his own man
