Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have taken an extremely secretive approach to promoting Spider-Man: No Way Home, hence why our first look at the likes of Green Goblin and Electro didn't arrive until the latest trailer. That also means merchandise for the movie has been a little vague, but the bad guys are finally starting to make their presence felt!
At a recent display of upcoming Hot Toys products based on the iconic web-slinger, Cosbaby versions of Doctor Octopus and Green Goblin were spotted alongside Spidey and Doctor Strange.
Hopefully, this is an indication that full-blown Hot Toys figures are on the way, not to mention Funko Pops. Unfortunately, none of that is likely to be available until well into 2022, but this is one Marvel Studios movie released in 2021 that hasn't actually had anything inadvertently spoiled by toys!
Check out this newly revealed Spider-Man: No Way Home merch below:
"For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero's identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk," reads the new synopsis. "When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse."
Among the film's confirmed cast members are Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, J.K. Simmons, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx. Based on the new trailer, we can now add Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans to that impressive list of actors (fingers crossed for Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield).
Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives in U.S. on December 17 and in the UK on December 15.
