SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME - New BTS Photo Of The Three Live-Action Spider-Men Has Found Its Way Online

Spider-Man: No Way Home brought together Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield's respective wall-crawlers in 2019, but a new behind-the-scenes photo of the trio has now found its way online...

There were plenty of leaks and rumours heading into Spider-Man: No Way Home, but it wasn't until most of us sat down in theaters that we got to see Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield share the screen as their respective Peter Parker Variants.

Shortly after the record-breaking movie's release, we got to see some spectacular behind-the-scenes photos of the trio recreating that iconic pointing meme. Today, though, we have an amazing shot of the heroes standing side-by-side.

Listed on the Brother's Trust website, this is one of my highly desirable items currently up for auction. As we write this, the bidding has reached £2100/$2600, but the money all goes to a good cause. Plus, this is also a one-of-a-kind collectable for Spidey fans.

In 2022, Maguire opened up on what led to him once again suiting up for Spider-Man: No Way Home when he said, "In that conversation [with Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal], the intention, the kind of love and celebration of these movies and what it meant, I think, to Amy and Kevin was apparent."

"And to me, when artists or, you know, people who are steering the creative process have a kind of authentic, genuine intent of celebration and love, it just was so apparent in both of them, that, I don’t know, I just wanted to join that."

"And I’m a big fan of Tom and those movies and Andrew," the actor continued. "So, it was definitely intriguing, but yes, I was also going, 'Well, what are we going to do?' And that was a bit mysterious."

Check out this new look at the three live-action Spider-Men below.

In Spider-Man: No Way Home, for the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighbourhood hero's identity is revealed, bringing his superhero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk.

When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse.

The movie stars Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, J.K. Simmons, Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans.

If they come back again, hopefully they give them more time to bulk up a bit

The way Tobey’s costume fit just looked a bif off

@dracula - he hasn't trained for the role since the original. In 2 and 3 they mostly used a stunt man in costume.

Great pic!!.

The chemistry between the 3 was great aswell as the banter & dynamic!!.

I liked how Tobey’s Peter was the elder statesman who knows what kind of hero & person he is now while Andrew’s was one who had lost his way somewhat and having gotten some closure seems like might get back on track by the end…

Then you have Tom’s Peter who is someone still fairly early into his crime fighting career yet has gone through so much already and just suffered a major loss finds these 2 other versions of himself that support him and help him grown even more.

Just good stuff man!!.

One of those movies that’s really, incredibly fun to watch in the moment but doesn’t leave much of an impact in retrospect. Feel like the spider-verse films are kind of the definitive cinematic take on the character now tbh.

@tmp3 - Disagree with that take completely. Spider-verse films are incredible, but nobody would say they are focused on the character of Spider-Man/Peter Parker. They are by far Miles Morales films. And that’s okay.

No Way Home was on Fx last night and rewatching it, is it nostalgia bait? Sure. They could’ve used new villains and said they were from different universes. But they didn’t and relied on nostalgia, no question.

But that is where the multiverse excels at: where there are definitive versions of a character done in the past and you use the concept to say these universes collide together, and play up on that history.

Seriously in all of cinema, what other time have other versions of a character been on screen at one time as the same character? It hasn’t been done, and the fact the movie was good is a miracle.

But it’s also damn sad and heavy at times. The ending is a brutal gut punch for audiences and made it feel like all this multiversal madness had a cost. And Peter is the character that always pays the cost, and continues fighting.

Im 37. I’ve loved the character of Peter Parker/Spider-Man since I was 4 years old.

No Way Home is a great film that celebrates the character of Peter Parker/Spider-Man.

I wish Tom was in his MCU red/blue suit. He looks odd in the red/black. It messes with the presentation of these being three classic Spideys. He should be in his version of the red/blue suit too.

Having be in black makes it look like he’s The One. He’s the Main Spider-Man. But the whole idea is that he isn’t; I know it’s his current trilogy, but he should be elevated alongside the others, not above them.

You could argue he didn’t even get his classic red/blue suit until the film’s final shot.

I like Tom’s suit the best NGL

@TheLobster - think Tom's suit from Civil War is still the best. But not the one we ended up with on screen:

The blue and the raised webbing make his suit just so much better imo

@bkmeijer1 -

That looks incredible, it's a shame they decided to just CGI the entire thing instead.

@TrentCrimm - yeah, the skintight CGI looked really off-putting. Took away all texture and details like creases and such.

That's why I think the TASM2 shot is perfect. It was CGI in certain scenes too, but it felt real with the fabric flapping in the wind.
