SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME Concept Art Reveals Even More Unused Designs For Green Goblin And Electro

It's been nearly two years since Spider-Man: No Way Home was released but the movie still generates more than its fair share of fan discussion.

As we write this, rumours continue to swirl that Tobey Maguire will be a key part of Avengers: Secret Wars, while Tom Holland is thought to have signed a new deal with Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures shortly before the Hollywood strikes began.

The actor may have cast doubt on his MCU future while promoting No Way Home but based on how many of his non-Spidey projects have been received, plenty of fans are resolute in the belief he's made the right decision (and that the actor probably needs a new agent). What of the web-slinger's villains, though?

While Michael Keaton is rumoured to reprise his role as The Vulture in Spider-Man 4, we don't expect to see any of No Way Home's Multiversal baddies again.

Thanks to concept artist John Nizzi, though, we can now take a closer look at several alternate designs for Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin and Jamie Foxx's Electro. The latter is particularly interesting, as Nizzi found ways to incorporate his suit and blue skin from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 into an overhauled MCU costume.

As for the Goblin, that militarised look is intriguing, but perhaps strays a little too far away from Norman Osborn's comic book appearance.

Let us know your thoughts on these alternate Spider-Man: No Way Home designs in the comments section.

In Spider-Man: No Way Home, for the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighbourhood hero's identity is revealed, bringing his superhero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk.

When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse.

The movie stars Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, J.K. Simmons, Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is now available to buy wherever you get your movies.
