With less than a week to go before Spider-Man: No Way Home's world premiere takes place in Hollywood, excitement for the final Marvel Studios movie of 2021 surely couldn't be any higher.
Now, Dolby has released a new poster for the threequel featuring that familiar shot of Tom Holland's wall-crawler swinging into action. The background proves a little more interesting, though, as the Marvel Cinematic Universe itself is turned completely on its head thanks to what we're assuming is Doctor Strange's decision to pull Peter Parker into the Mirror Dimension when they come to blows.
This sequence along with the fight with Doctor Octopus have been featured heavily in trailers and TV spots for Spider-Man: No Way Home, but it feels like there's an awful lot that's being kept under wraps. Hopefully, that means there are still some big surprises that haven't been rumoured or leaked online.
Check out this new poster for Spider-Man: No Way Home below:
"For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero's identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk," reads the new synopsis. "When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse."
Among the film's confirmed cast members are Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, J.K. Simmons, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx. Based on the new trailer, we can now add Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans to that impressive list of actors (fingers crossed for Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield).
Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives in U.S. on December 17 and in the UK on December 15.
