Spider-Man: No Way Home is right around the corner, and for those of you excited to see more of the movie's villains, this featurette has you covered. With comments from actors Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx about what their respective bad guys bring to the table in this threequel, there's also never-before-seen footage of each of them in action.
There's a great shot of the Green Goblin leaping on his glider, for example, and we see him clad in purple rags that bring Norman Osborn closer to his comic book counterpart in terms of appearance.
Elsewhere, Doc Ock picks up right where he left off in Spider-Man 2 by demanding the wall-crawler tell him where his machine is. As for Electro, he taunts Spidey in a couple of new dialogue reveals, though there's a chance it's not Tom Holland's Peter Parker he's speaking to!
The Lizard and Sandman are nowhere to be found, and we can't help but wonder whether that's because Rhys Ifans and Thomas Haden Church don't actually reprise their roles in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Both characters can be portrayed as mindless beasts, after all, which means there'd be no need to enlist the actors to play them.
Check out the new Spider-Man: No Way Home featurette below:
"For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero's identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk," reads the new synopsis. "When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse."
Among the film's confirmed cast members are Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, J.K. Simmons, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx. Based on the new trailer, we can now add Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans to that impressive list of actors (fingers crossed for Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield).
Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives in U.S. on December 17 and in the UK on December 15.
