SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME Gets Amazing Fan-Made Posters Based On Tobey Maguire And Andrew Garfield's Movies

Spider-Man: No Way Home has now had quite a few posters, but these efforts - based on The Amazing Spider-Man and Spider-Man franchises starring Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire - are truly spectacular.

Sony Pictures has chosen not to reveal whether Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are in Spider-Man: No Way Home, and that's definitely had an impact on the threequel's marketing campaign.

What we do know is that Tom Holland's Peter Parker will square off with the villains their Spider-Man Variants faced, including Doctor Octopus, the Green Goblin, Electro, Sandman, and The Lizard. It seems inevitable that those other wall-crawlers will appear, and some new fan-made posters take direct inspiration from the ones used to market the original Spider-Man (and The Amazing Spider-Man) movies.

These are spectacular, and put Holland's Spidey in a number of iconic poses that we're sure will be instantly familiar to many of you. Zendaya's MJ even subs in for Kirsten Dunst's Mary Jane Watson, and it's a real shame that we didn't get official versions of these classic movie posters for No Way Home.

We haven't been able to identify the artists responsible for creating these posters, so please do get in touch if it was you so we can properly credit these amazing creations.

"For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero's identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk," reads the new synopsis. "When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse."

Among the film's confirmed cast members are Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, J.K. Simmons, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx. Based on the new trailer, we can now add Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans to that impressive list of actors (fingers crossed for Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield).

Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives in U.S. on December 17 and in the UK on December 15.

My dad worked at a company that print movie banners. me and my brothers had full sized posters for the original spiderman and x men. All that got thrown out at some point.

@dracula - I seen it in the theater. I didn’t even know a Spider Man movie was in the making then. I got all my comic book news from Wizard magazine at that time and it must’ve been something I overlooked.

@dracula - There was a theater back home that gave away the posters as they were replaced.

I had some memorable ones too.

@BlackBeltJones -

I always wonder why disneys executives dont go into the marketing department with these fan posters and ask them why they suck so hard💁

@AmazingFILMporg - or HIRE THESE FANS.

You see it happen often. The new Fresh Prince show was born of a fan made trailer on YouTube.

A little distracting how you can see the original characters in the reflections, but once again, fans are showing marvel how to make posters.

@Origame - The first one is the only one that really looks great when you zoom in; the others start to look like AI generated pictures when zoomed in; but with more work/time they could look great, and I’m sure Marvel/Sony could have easily done this instead of the ones we’ve gotten so far

@MeAreLegend - even as is, they're so much better than the official posters.

These posters look amazing! These look way better than your average photshop-heavy fan poster and DEFINITELY better than the official ones we’ve gotten so far

They make for better posters than the official ones, that's for sure.
