SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME Promo Art Reveals Spidey's New Logo And Makes Changes To The Black & Gold Suit

Rumour has it the new Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer is set to swing online any day now, and while time will tell on that front, we were recently treated to a couple of new must-see stills

The images have been followed by promo art featuring the web-slinger's new logo (which looks set to focus on that "Integrated" suit combining Peter Parker's Iron Spider and Upgraded costumes). Talking of suits, the Black & Gold outfit has now been altered to remove the red gloves; that was the case on the Hot Toys action figure as well, and this version looks considerably better.

Most of the other shots are pretty familiar, and we're hoping for a second wave of merchandise featuring Spider-Man: No Way Home's villains and perhaps the other Spider-Men...if they're in the movie!

"For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero," reads the movie's synopsis. "When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man."

Among the threequel's confirmed cast members are Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx. Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Willem Dafoe are among those rumoured to appear.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to be released exclusively in theaters on December 17.

I know they give Spider-Man all these different outfits to sell action figures but I wished he just used his classic suit.

This feels so..... manufactured.... who is this for? Little children?

This doesn't feel tonally like it belongs in the MCU... this literally feels like the cheap action figures they release with alternate designs that never appear in the movie, they use random bright color schemes and just throw in random features like a Spider-hang glider or Magic Spiderwebs....

What even is this!?

Thus doesn't even look cool or grounded or.... its just so not Spiderman.... why they doing my boy Peter like this, man? Were they really that scared by Andrew's reboot that they have to make Spiderman unrecognizable.... my boy.... looks like a [frick]in 99 cent store coloring book cover....

@ElricReturns - I mean, he's a superhero. He's pretty explicitly for children

@AmazingFILMporg - you prefer preschool designs used for the MCU? If you want Paw Patrol level work on this big budget for all ages films, I guess you can accept that.

@Dredd97 - then what are you doing here, if superheroes are explicitly for children? You expecting to find only children interested in this material here? Hm...

The gold is so ostentatious and not in a cool Iron Man way. That red and black suit would be absolutely perfect if they ditch the little robot spider symbol that reeks of iron man and tech and gave him a cool classic Spider. Red n black suit all the way.

I can’t get excited for this movie until I get legit confirmation that THAT DUDE in the trailer is not Doctor Strange but a variant. Otherwise the entire plot of the film is already in shambles for me.

@McMurdo - I think if that was revealed in the trailer it would spoil the surprise. A lot of people didn’t watch Loki or What If… so they might not know who or what variants are.

@McMurdo - K. Glad the very little information on the plot has left you unable to comprehend how the movie will play out

That seems like a twist that wont be revealed in a trailer🤔

@McMurdo - I'm still kinda hoping that variant is not a variant, but Mysterio.

But that theory doesn't work anymore now the Venom post-credit scene confirms all the multiverse villains aren't just illusion cast by Mysterio.

@Evansly - I can only base my opinions on what is provided. In that trailer, a guy who looks identical to Doctor Strange does a spell that Doctor Strange simply would never do because he isn’t a moron. But the entire film is predicated upon him doing something that Doctor Strange wouldn’t do. It’s kinda like TLJ where we all said, well if Luke abandoned his family and the universe to galactic genocide he must have a desperately great reason or is being prohibited from helping. Because the entire plot of the ST is predicated in Luke being anti Luke. Obviously I’m not equating this film wholesale to that, but if a plot is predicated on an established character doing uncharacteristic shit for the story to go forth, welp.

He's the real Doctor Strange, the writer is known for poorly handling characters... look at MCU Peter as an example.
