When Spider-Man makes his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Captain America: Civil War, what costume should he wear? The traditional blue and red or the Iron Spider suit from the comic?

Naturally, many details are still unknown regarding Spider-Man's forthcoming debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.  Some site speculate that reshoots are happening for Spider-Man to appear in the end-credits stinger for Avengers: Age of Ultron.  Specifically, rumors state that at the end of the film, Captain America and Iron Man venture down separate paths to each form their own Avengers teams.  When each puts out the call for new heroes to join their respective teams, one of the superheroes that answers the call will reportedly be good ol' Spider-Man.  A more persistent rumor is that Spider-Man first shows up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Captain America: Civil War.  If that film is indeed the first appearance for Spidey, which costume should he wear?  The classic blue and red suit or the Iron Spider costume that Tony Stark builds for him?  It's really a question of how close will Marvel and the Russo Bros. adhere to the source material from Mark Millar and Steve McNiven's 2006 Marvel miniseries.

I am losing interest more and more in Civil War.

Marvel wants to reboot Spider-Man, put him back in high school, and introduce him in a story in which the biggest impact which was Spidey revealing his secret identity when he was like what 25?



Don't put Spider-Man in Civil War at all if you're going to have him be a High School student.

I feel the same way about the High School thing.... I wonder if their actually going to do another origin....

I would rather Spidey start older....

But, I can't wait to see what Marvel will do with him, Marvel needs to bring Spidey back

Both but he should have the iron spider suit and the Alex ross red and valve suit I'm tired of seeing red and blue, time to change it up

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy Spidey is back at Marvel but you don't need to put him in the first film you got coming out.

Save him for his own reboot film.

I don't know when they're filming this, but they could easily put him in a background fight in the Iron Spider suit, just to tease fans.

But Spidey won't be handled correctly because either:

A. He will reveal his identity which will [frick] up the solo films and the whole identity thing that the MCU lacks.

or

B. The biggest part of the Civil War arc in Spidey revealing his identity will be missing.

Marvel's [frick]ed either way. It's just best not to use Spidey at all for Civil War.

Traditional costume will do just fine.

It's such a relief to know the Peter Parker who was selfish, never grew up, never faced the consequences of his actions, and abandoned his friends and family in their time of need is dead and I will never see him again.

I want the Spider-Man who put being a hero over making wisecracks at the expense of innocent lives.

Or, it could be sort of like the Hawkeye cameo in Thor,where we see him suit up in the Iron Spider suit and do some action.
